Nashville - Barbara Jean Jackson Landis, age 87, passed away March 27, 2023. She was born in Nash County, daughter of Leslie and Essie May Jackson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Ralph Cooper and Bill Landis; brother, Joe Jackson and sister, Cathy.

She is survived by her son, Mark Cooper (Holly); one grandchild; step-sons, Bobby Landis (Sharon) and Billy Landis (Dee); two step-grandchildren;several nieces and nephews.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. at Pineview Cemetery, Rocky Mount on Friday, March 31, 2023 with Pastor Gary Wood officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
