ROCKY MOUNT - Bobby Ray Moss, age 88, passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2023. Born in Nash County, NC on October 21, 1934, he was the son of the late Glemon Ray Moss and Pauline Hendricks Moss. He was preceded in death by his brother, Roger Moss.

Bobby is survived by his wife of 65 years, Mateline Joyner Moss; his son Craig Moss (Nikki) of Wilson; his daughter, Amy Moss White (William) of Tampa, FL; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; his brother, Allen Moss of Hamlet; his sisters, Shirley Pace of Spring Hope, and Betty Carol Bissette (Frank) of Rocky Mount; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 26, 2023, at 3 p.m. in the Chapel of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Pastor Dave Grogan officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. prior to the service in the Atrium of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home.

A private family burial will take place at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
