SPRING HOPE ‑ Alice Mae Davis Harris, age 96, passed away Thursday, March 16, 2023.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, March 24, 2023 at St. Hope Missionary Baptist Church, Spring Hope. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.

A viewing will be held from 12-1 p.m. prior to the service at the church.

She is survived by her children, Linda Perscell (Howze) of Raleigh, James Melvin of Spring Hope, Rex O'Neal of Spring Hope, Hanna Watkins of Brandywine, MD; daughter-in law, Diane Blackmon of Spring Hope; nineteen grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Yvonne Lucas of Spring Hope, Vivian Harris of Spring Hope, Rochelle Lynch of Landam, MD and Christine Mills of Nashville; brother-in-law, Bobby Harris of Ohio, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
