ROCKY MOUNT - James "David" Ward, age 54, passed away on Monday, March 6, 2023. He was born in Nash County, NC on August 14, 1968. David was preceded in death by his father, James Howard Ward.

David is survived by his mother, Lillian Rose Casey Ward; his sister, Laura Langley and husband, Keith; a nephew and niece; as well as many other family members and friends.

A funeral service was held on Sunday, March 12, 2023 . at New Life Church, 1127 Benvenue Road, Rocky Mount, with the Pastor Tim Suber officiating. Burial followed the service at Pineview Cemetery.
