ROCKY MOUNT - Sue Hutto Harris, age 81, passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2023. Born in Nash County on January 21, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Frederick Lawton Hutto and Lucy York Hutto.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Betsy Hutto Shearin.

She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Bruce Harris; her daughter Lori Tucker Joyner (husband Phillip): stepson, Kirk Harris (wife Crystal); one grandchild and two step-grandchilddren; her sister, Kay Hutto Hill, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A service Friday, March 3 , 2023 at 2 p.m. at Lakeside Baptist Church, 1501 Sunset Ave. Rocky Mount with Dr. Jody Wright officiating. Visitation will follow the service in Sugg Foyer.
