Billie Faye Thomas, 72, passed away Saturday, March 4, 2023. She was born February 7, 1951 in Edgecombe County to the late Willie and Lucy Taylor Griffin. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Susan Messing; sister-in-law and best friend, Donna Thomas Womble.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, David Thomas; daughter, Angie M. Griffin (Gus); son, Luther N. Griffin; two grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, March 12, 2023 at Tabernacle Baptist Church, 1815 Airport Blvd, NW, Wilson at 2 p.m. with Rev. Joe Shakour officiating followed by a visitation.
