ROCKY MOUNT - Travis Gray Mullen was born in Nash County on Wednesday, March 5, 1980.

He is the son of Kenneth Gray Mullen and Debbie Estelle Dorsey Mullen. He passed away on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at the age of 42. Travis was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Walter Gray and Clara Jean Vick Mullen, and by his maternal grandparents, James Wilson and Helen Gay Dorsey.

Travis is survived by his parents Kenneth and Debbie Mullen; his sister Shannon Mullen Maloney and her husband Rob of Greenville; two nieces; an uncle and aunt.

A service was held March 6, 2023, at Englewood Baptist Church, Rocky Mount with Dr. Chris Aiken and Pastor Charles Taylor officiating. A private family inurnment service will took place at Rocky Mount Memorial Park Wall of Hope Niches.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Travis' memory to the City of Refuge Foundation, 1350 S. Winstead Ave., Rocky Mount, NC 27803.
