Michael Ray Bottoms, age 63, was born April 1, 1959, and died on February 23, 2023. Born in Rocky Mount, he is the son of Nellie Marie Pope Joyner and Willard Ray Bottoms. Mike is preceded in death by his parents and his stepfather, Lowell Benton.

He is survived by his sister, Gwen Bottoms Messer and husband, William; his significant other, Karen Underwood, and her children; one grandchild; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephew and friends.

A service will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at 10 a.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home, Nashville.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mike's memory to the American Heart Association or Englewood Baptist Church, Rocky Mount.
