ROCKY MOUNT - Brenda Cotton, age 77, passed away Thursday, February 16, 2023. Born in Anson County, NC on September 9, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Frenzly Foy Bush and Lethia White Bush.

Brenda is survived by her husband of 56 years, Wayne Cotton; her daughters, Catherine Cotton Jordan and husband, Dale and Rebecca Cotton Tyndall and husband, Ray; four grandchildren; her brother, Marcus Bush and wife, Patricia; and one nephew.

A service will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2023, at 2 p.m. at Lakeside Baptist Church, 1501 Sunset Avenue, Rocky Mount. The Inurnment Service will take place at the Columbarium at Lakeside Baptist Church following the service. Visitation will follow the inurnment in the Sugg Foyer of the Kincheloe Building.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Brenda's memory to Lakeside Baptist Church, 1501 Sunset Avenue, Rocky Mount, NC 27804.
