James Allen "Jim" Hart, age 76, passed away Friday, February 10, 2023. He was born in Kingston, New York on September 28, 1946 to Robert Percival and Helen Sivills Hart. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Gray Hart and brother, Robert Hart.

He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Gargan and husband, Patrick of Alabama; three grandchildren; along with nieces, nephews, friends, and other extended relatives.

A service was held Thursday, February 16, 2023 at First Baptist Church, 200 South Church Street, Rocky Mount, NC 27804.
