HOLLISTER - Morris “Rubber Duck” Lynch, 79, passed away Wednesday, December 3, 2008. Funeral services were at 2:30 on Sunday, Dec. 7 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

Surviving: daughters, Bettie L. Hedgepeth, of Rocky Mount, Linda McCurn, of Raleigh, Phyllis J. Davis, of Glenn Dale, MD, Dorothy L. Whitaker, of Merriam, KS and Verlene Preston, of Fayetteville; sons, Morris E. Lynch, of Hollister, Calvin R. Lynch, of Brinkleyville, Timothy Lynch, of Fayetteville, and Ronald D. Lynch, of Raleigh; sisters, Luetoria Richardson, of Hollister and Kathleen Massenburg, of Nashville; brothers, Norman Lynch, of Nashville, Cleo M. Lynch, and Michael W. Lynch, both of Rocky Mount; 19 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

A wake service was from 7-8 on Saturday, Dec. 6 at Richardson Funeral Home in Nashville.
