BATTLEBORO - Albert C. Thomas, age 85, passed away on Saturday, December 31, 2022. Born in Pitt County, NC on October 22, 1937, he was the son of the late John Thomas and Dorothy White Thomas. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Myrtle Wommack Thomas

Albert is survived by his wife of seven years, Phyllis Hall Thomas; his son, Courtlon Thomas and wife, Tammy, of Whitakers; his daughters, Amy Davidson Wright of Henderson, and Rhonda Thomas Hendricks and husband, Brad, of Snow Hill; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A celebration of Albert's life will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at 3 p.m at Bethany Baptist Church, 704 Batchelor Road, Sharpsburg, NC 27878 with Braxton Price officiating. A visitation will be from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. prior to the service in the Sanctuary of Bethany Baptist Church.
