WILMINGTON - George Thomas "Tommy" Jones, age 61, passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2022. Born in Nash County on March 30, 1961, he was the son of the late George Howell Jones and Jo Ann Coley Jones.

Tommy is survived by his son, Justin Thomas Jones; one grandson: his sister, Amy Jones Miller; a niece and nephew.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at 11 a.m. at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Burial will follow the service at Philadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery, 6701 Taylor Store Road, Nashville. The family will receive friends and relatives on Tuesday, December 6, 2022, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home.
