WILSON - Matthew "Matt" Brooks Pittman, age 40, passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2022. He was born in Nash County on January 28, 1982.

Matt is survived by his wife of 10 years, Rachel Nales Pittman; his daughter, Juliana Brooks Pittman; his parents, Jimmy and JoLynne Pittman; his sisters, Christina Pittman Murray and husband, Shane, of Red Oak and Stacey Pittman Cashwell of Rocky Mount; his brother-in-law, Robert Allen Nales and wife, Victoria; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Services will be held Saturday, October 29, 2022, at 11 a.m. at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Servicesg. Visitation with the family will follow service until 1 p.m. in the Atrium of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home.
