Daniel Henry Carter, 53, passed away Thursday, October 20, 2022. He was born March 18, 1969 in Nash County to late Raymond an Elizabeth "Ann" Marks Carter. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Raymond Carter Jr.; grandparents Joe and Addie Marks, Raymond and Grace Carter.

He is survived by his wife Ann Carter; two daughters Lauren E. Bass and Elizabeth Pierce; sister Mary Ann Vick (Pastor Ray Vick); one grandchild; one nephew; one niece; two great nephews; several aunts and uncles.

A visitation with family and friends will be Monday, October 24, 2022 from 12:00-1:45 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home with a service to be held at 2 p.m. in the Chapel. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.
