NASHVILLE - Robert Henry "Dick" Arnold, Jr., age 83, passed away October 4, 2022. He was the son of the late Robert Henry Arnold, Sr. and Zettie Ann Williamson Arnold. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, J. C. Arnold and his sisters, Susie Arnold and Merlyn Lewis. Dick was born in Duplin County, NC on March 2, 1939.

Dick is survived by his wife of 59 years, Bonnie Lou Warren Arnold; his two sons, Robert Henry Arnold, III and wife, Elizabeth, and Michael Warren Arnold and wife, Melissa; three grandchilden; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

A funeral service was held October 7, 2022 at Sunset Avenue Baptist Church, Rocky Mount. Entombment followed at Rocky Mount Memorial Park Chapel of Memories Mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Dick's memory to Sunset Avenue Baptist Church, 3732 Sunset Ave., Rocky Mount, NC 27804 (Acts 1:8 Ministry or to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering).
