ROCKY MOUNT - Sue Resico Irwin, age 92, passed away on Monday, September 26, 2022. Born in Edgecombe County on August 20, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Neil Edmond Resico and Nannie Ethelene Smith Resico. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Donald "Don" Phillip Irwin; her brothers, Neil Edmond Resico, Jack Resico, and Carl Resico; and her sisters, Mary Rose Viverette and Rachel Resico.

Sue is survived by her son, Donald Phillip Irwin, II and wife, Sadie; her daughters, Debbie Thorne and husband Archie, Dale Ellis and husband, James, Pamela Webb and husband, Glen, and Dana Abdelhadi and companion, Rafael Rohaym; 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 8 great great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

A private family graveside service will be held Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
