ROCKY MOUNT - Bobby Wayne Wilson, age 61 passed away on August 31st, 2022. Born in Wake County on June 20, 1961, he was the son of the late Ralph Burton Wilson and Jean Ferrell King. He was also preceded in death by his brothers; Donnie, Ronnie and Jimmy Wilson; his sister, Frances King.

Bobby is survived by his son, Jeremy Dylan Wilson of Greenville; his sisters, Connie Boyette of Kenly, and Carolyn Johnson (William) of Kenly; his brothers, Jackie Wilson (Donna) of Star and Michael Wilson of Wilson; nieces and nephew; great nieces and great nephews.

A Celebration of Bobby's Life will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2022, at 1 p.m. at Englewood Baptist Church, Rocky Mount. Visitation will follow the service in the Sanctuary of Englewood Baptist Church until 4:30 PM.

A Private Family Inurnment Service will take place at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Bobby's memory, in c/o his son, Jeremy Wilson, 3440 Briarcliff Drive Apt E, Greenville, NC or directly to the nonprofit account with State Employees' Credit Union.
