Rev. Winiford "Billy" Floyd Carlyle, Jr., 63, passed away on September 1, 2022. He was born March 30, 1959 in New Hanover County. Billy was preceded in death by his father Winiford F. Carlyle Sr.

Billy is survived by his wife of 40 years Carolyn Holder Carlyle; son Michael Cameron Carlyle; daughter Jessica Carlyle Guillemette (Adam); two grandchildren; mother Delphia McDonald Carlyle; sister Carol C. McLaurin (Rev. Tommy); several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, September 4, 2022 at Rise Church, Rocky Mount Campus. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Wilson.
