BATTLEBORO- Richard "Calvin" Moore, age 76, passed away on Friday, August 26, 2022. Born in Pitt County on September 6, 1945, he was the son of the late James Calvin Moore and Doris Jones Moore. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Lois Moore; his son, Richie Moore; his grandsons, Keith Gibson and Joshua Moore; and his brother, Jimmy Moore.

Calvin is survived by his wife, Anita Rogers Moore; his daughter, Terry Saint; his son, Greg Moore and wife, Samantha; his step-son, Christopher Glenn Parker; one grandchild; four great-grandchildren; his sisters, Marie Moore Goff and husband, Gene, Faye Moore Eason, and Dorothy Moore Stowe and husband, Jerry; and nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held Sunday, August 28, 2022 at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
