James Curtis Toney, 62, passed away on Sunday, November 16, 2008. Services were held on Saturday, November 22, 2008 at 2 p.m. at the Richardson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Thomas Richardson officiating. Burial followed in the Cedar Rock Church Cemetery.

Survivors include two daughters, Lisa Hightower of Columbus, GA and Annete Toney Hargrove of Marshville, NC; two sisters, Ivey Mae Sills and Bert Lee Pulley of Spring Hope; one brother, James Wilkins of Spring Hope; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Visitation was held at Richardson Funearl Home in Louisburge on Friday, Novmeber 21, 2008 from 6 until 8 p.m.
