Joshua “Josh” Ramon Wiggins, 11, passed away suddenly on November 15, 2008. He was born October 15, 1997.

The funeral was held Saturday, November 22 at 1 p.m. at New Beginnings Community Church, Wilson with Dr. Tyrone P. Jones, II officiating. Interment followed in Oakland Cemetery, Nashville.

Josh was a very active student at Toisnot Elementary School, and was loved by all who knew him.

Surviving: sister, Tiara Wiggins of Rocky Mount; maternal grandparents, Shelly and Roberto Guillen, of the home; maternal great-grandparents, Grafton and Dorothy Wiggins, of Elm City; paternal great-grandfather, Leroy Shelley, of Wilson; aunts, Val Perry (Cleveland), of Bailey, Shauna Pickett (Terrell) and Tiffany Tucker (Rashad), of Wilson; A special great aunt, Theresa Wiggins (Derrick), of Wilson, other relatives and many friends.

Public viewing was Friday, Nov. 21 from 2 - 7 p.m. at Edwards Funeral Home. The family received friends at other times at the home of his aunt, Theresa Wiggins in Wilson, where they assembled an hour before the funeral for the procession to the church.

Personal and professional services are entrusted to Edwards Funeral Home, Wilson.
