James "Jim" Hunt, age 56, passed away on Monday, August 8, 2022. Jim was born in Ohio on June 29, 1966. He was preceded in death by his father, Arnold Hunt.

Jim is survived by his wife, Sarah Rigsby Hunt; his children, Samantha Jackson and husband, R.J., Marley Hunt, and Blake Hunt; his mother, Dorothy Hunt; his sister, Sonia Burnett and husband, Curtis; and a niece.

A service will be held Saturday, August 13, 2022, at 11 a.m. at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, Rocky Mount. A visitation will be on Friday, August 12, 2022, from 6-8 p.m. at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
