ROCKY MOUNT - Harold "John" Michaletz, II, age 59, passed away on Monday, August 1, 2022. He was born in Cumberland County on January 29, 1963. He was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce Marie Lewis Michaletz; his sister, Kimberly Renee' Michaletz; and his grandparents.

John is survived by his father, Harold "Mike" Michaletz; aunts and uncles; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, special friends throughout the military community; and special friend, Jennifer.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2022, at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Rocky Mount. Burial will follow the service at Pineview Cemetery. A visitation will be from 12:00 -1:45 p.m. prior to the service in First Baptist Church Narthex.
