ROCKY MOUNT - John Joseph Allsbrook, age 73, passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2022. Born in Rocky Mount on September 3, 1948, he was the son of the late Joseph "Joe" Lee Allsbrook and Inez Winstead Allsbrook. He was also preceded in death by his infant brother, Bruce Lee Allsbrook.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Carolyn Lewis Allsbrook; his daughter, Melissa Allsbrook Koehler, of Marietta, GA and son, Joseph "Joey" Allen Allsbrook and wife, Presley Byrd Allsbrook of Thomasville; four grandchildren: his brother, Jerry Lee Allsbrook and wife, Cat Rudd; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A funeral service was held August 1, 2022 at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
