Martin (Marty) Neal Proctor born September 19, 1961 in Salina, Kansas, passed away July 21, 2022. Marty was preceded in death by his son, Kyle Neal Proctor and his mother, Lynn Tippette.

Marty is survived by his father, Russell Proctor Jr. and wife Linda of Rocky Mount; daughter, Ashley Proctor and partner Brandon Hare of Rocky Mount; stepson, Jason Shrock of Tarboro; sisters, Paula "Nessie" Bass and husband Joe of Rocky Mount, Beverly Warren and husband Darrell of Rocky Mount, Robbin Pridgen and husband Bill of Rocky Mount; two grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held from 5:30pm-7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at Cornerstone Funeral Home. The family request that everyone wear beach clothing to the visitation in honor of Marty.
