ROCKY MOUNT - Jeffrey Allan Simmons, age 55, passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2022. Born in Jefferson County, TN on November 11, 1966, he was the son of Belle Dale Eason and the late Junior Simmons. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Lorrie Helton.

Jeffrey is survived by his wife, Denise Long Simmons; his daughter, Taylor Simmons of the home; his son, Timothy Simmons of home; his sisters, Jamie McDaniel and husband, Artie of TN, and Jennie Edwards and husband, Jimmy of Nashville.

A memorial service was held on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 in the Chapel of Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
