ROCKY MOUNT - Linda Brewer, age 78, passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2022. Born in Nash County on April 22, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Richard Claude Greene and Maurice Edna Hudson Greene. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James L. Brewer, Jr.; also, her 11 siblings that predeceased her.

Linda is survived by her daughter, Krista Brewer Wilson (Junior) of Nashville; her son, James L. Brewer, III of Rocky Mount; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; her sisters, Dale Greene of Rocky Mount and Maggie Wells of VA.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at 3 p.m. at Pineview Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 1 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. prior to the graveside service at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
