SHARPSBURG - Peggy Clark Hurdle, age 89, passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2022. Born in Wilson County on May 22, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Sidney Clark and Stella Williams Clark. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Matthew Hurdle, Jr.; her brothers, Marvin, Wilton, and Bill Clark; her sister, Mildred Ferrin.

Peggy is survived by her daughters, Brenda Hurdle (Bruce Wayne Murray) of Sharpsburg and Linda Hurdle Poole (Richard) of Greenville; numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at 11a.m. in the Chapel of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Burial will follow the service at Pineview Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
