Danny Ray Parker, 71, passed away June 15, 2022. He was born December 20, 1950 to Otha and Mamie Parker of Sandy Cross.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Otha and Mamie Parker, his brother Leon Parker and sister Margie Thomas.

He is survived by his wife of almost 49 years, Betty Sue; his children, Daniel Parker (Tiffany), Emily Parker Skinner (Chris) and Susanne Parker Strickland (Glenn); six grandchildren; one great-grandchild and four nieces.

A service was held Friday, June 17, 2022 at Christian Fellowship Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Nash General or Christian Adoption Services of Rocky Mount.
