NASHVILLE - Funeral services for Virginia Vira Perkins, age 81, who died on Saturday, May 21, 2022, will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at 3 p.m. from the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church in Nashville. Burial will be later at the Maryland National Cemetery.

She is survived by three daughters, Valerie Fenister of Rocky Mount, Nancy Perkins McAllister (Yvette) of Baltimore, MD, Charlissa Speight (Louis) of Nashville; one son, Patrick Perkins of New City, NY; one sister, Lois Dean Resper of Greensboro; one brother, William Alston of Nashville; eight grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Viewing will be Saturday afternoon from 2-3 p.m. at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church in Nashville.
