ROCKY MOUNT - Emma Bunn Braswell, age 73, passed away May 17, 2022. Born in Edgecombe County on February 19, 1949, she was the daughter of the late William and Hazel Bunn. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Henry T. Braswell and brother, Robert A. Bunn.

She is survived by her two sons, William Henry Braswell and wife, Angie, of Whitakers and Thomas Wayne Braswell and wife, Heather, of Rocky Mount; four grandchildren; her two brothers, Richard Bunn of Wilson and Danny Bunn and wife, Sherry, of Florida; and two sisters, Paula Childress of Rocky Mount and Millie Scarbel and husband, Carmen, of Rocky Mount.

A graveside memorial service was held May 21, 2022, at Proctor Family Cemetery.
