Christine Gay Eason, 93, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2022. She was born May 16, 1928 in Edgecombe County to the late Charlie and Etta Belle Weaver Gay.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Lester Eason, son Ray Eason and, daughter Connie Eason.

She is survived by three sons, Ronnie (Lorraine), Timmy, and Dan (Joyce) Eason; two daughters Anita Gardner (Dale), and Amy Tobin (Rick); twelve grandchildren, and sixteen great-grandchildren.

Visitation with family and friends will be Wednesday, May 18, 2022 from 11:00-11:45 a.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held after visitation at 12 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Wells Family Cemetery.
