BAILEY - Shirley Jean Brown, 69, passed away April 9, 2022. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 12, in Bailey Town Cemetery, Bailey. The family will receive friends at the home.

Shirley is survived by her daughter, Shannon Hendricks Denton and husband, Kevin; son, Ricky Brown and wife, Tina; 4 grandchildren; sisters, Marie Peacok and husband, J.F., and Doris Walls and husband, Billy; brother, Charles West and wife, Tammy, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Brown; parents, Royal and Ethel Lee West; sisters, Mavis Pipkin, and Ann Carol Harris; brother, Luther Strickland, and her niece, Wanda Jenkins.
