ROCKY MOUNT - Lee Slavin, age 47, passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2022. Born in Suffolk, VA on July 13, 1974, he was the son of Bruce Slavin and Ronda Samples Slavin. He was preceded in death by his mother; his grandfather, William Calvin Slavin; and his aunt, Teresa Slavin Long.

Lee is survived by his wife, Angela Griffin Slavin; his son, Shane Slavin; his dad and mom, Bruce and Debra Slavin; his sister, Kimberly Copeland; his brothers, Heath Slavin, Chris Rooks (Brandy), Brandon Rooks (Randi), and Lucas Rooks (Crystal); his grandmother, Mary Owens Slavin; his father and mother-in-law, Clifton and Elaine Griffin; his brother-in-law, Clifton Ray Griffin; his sister-in-law, Tina Owens; as well as several nieces and nephews and extended family members.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Visitation to follow the service.
