ROCKY MOUNT - David Brooks Strickland, age 40, passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2022. David was born in Nash County on July 21, 1981. He was preceded in death by his brother, Mark. B. Strickland.

David is survived by his parents, Dr. Henry Howard "Hank" Strickland, Jr. and Rita Anne Barnett Strickland of Georgetown, SC; his brothers, Jeffrey B. Strickland and wife, Brooke of Raleigh and Steven D. Strickland of Raleigh; three nieces and one nephew.

A service will be held Friday, March 25, 2022, at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services. A private family burial will be held at a later time at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be from 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
