SHARPSBURG - Cecil Gary Poole, age 70, passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2022. Born in Greenback, TN on December 15, 1951, he was the son of the late Kenneth Carroll Poole and Mary Ruth Rogers Poole. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Portia Watts Poole; his son, Chris Poole; his brother, Sammy Poole and his nephew, Marty Poole.

Gary is survived by his daughter, Amanda Poole (Lee Murray), of Spring Hope; his step-daughters, Donna Poland, of Nashville, and Christy Baker, of Wilson; 8 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; his sister, Judy Wood (Jim), of Middlesex; his brother, Marvin Poole (Patricia), of South Carolina; his six nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at 4 p.m. in the Chapel of Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
