ROCKY MOUNT - Joseph "Jody" Michael Pridgen, age 47, passed away on Sunday, March 6, 2022. Born in Nash County on April 30, 1974, he was the son of Joseph "Jake" and Peggy Pridgen, of Rocky Mount. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joseph Russell and Mary Pridgen, and Mamie O'Neal.

Jody is also survived by his sister, Melissa (Missy) Pridgen, of Rocky Mount; many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation with the family will be held on Thursday, March 10, 2022 from 6-8 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home and Cremation Services. A private memorial service will be held with the family at a later date.

Flowers are welcome, or memorials may be made in Jody's memory to the charity of one's choice.
