MIDDLESEX - Jesse A. Mitchener, Jr., age 82, passed away February 12, 2022.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at 12 p.m. at William Toney's Funeral Home Chapel in Zebulon. Burial will follow in Zebulon City Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 9 a.m.-12p.m. prior to services.

He is survived by Minister Anniel Mitchener; children, Donna Marie Mitchener Jones (Donald) of Middlesex, Sandra K. Walker (Eugene) of Middlesex, Earias Mitchener of Middlesex; (He was preceded in death by two children, Cynthia Neal Shorey and Donnie Eugene Mitchener); sisters, Minister Eula Pearl Adeniji of Charlotte and Sarah Lavern Hocutt of Raleigh; brothers, Calvin Lee Mitchener (Roxanne) of Raleigh and Lieutenant Colonel James Earl Mitchener, Military Retired (Rovella) of Columbia, SC.; several grandchildren; many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
