WILSON - John Albert Sessoms, age 61, passed away on Tuesday, February 1, 2022. Born in Belem, Brazil on February 5, 1960, he was the son of the late Rev. John Thomas Sessoms and Olive Duff Sessoms. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 28 years, Michelle Ann Sessoms.

John is survived by his daughters, Olivia Jane Sessoms of Charlotte and Elizabeth Sessoms Mehalko and her husband, Joseph, of Richmond, VA; his son, John David Sessoms and his finance, Niki, of Garner; 3 granddaughters; his sisters, Gloria Sessoms Corbett and her husband, Luke, and Patricia Sessoms Linton and her husband, Vernon; and his brother, Philip Sessoms and his wife, Helen.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Forest Hill Cemetery. A visitation with the family will follow the service at the graveside.
