Elbert "Terry" Alston, 67, passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2022. He was born May 16, 1954 in Nash County to the late G.B. and Evelyn Etheridge Alston. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by brother-in-law Bill Warwick.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years Debbie Alston; son Clifton Terry Alston (Melissa); daughters Ashley Denise Alston and Samantha Alston Tabron ( Jakwan); brothers G.B. Alston (Alice) and Larry Alston (Carolyn); sisters Barbara Joyner (Albert) and Betsy Warwick; 10 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home.
