ROCKY MOUNT - Hazel Louise Hedgepeth, age 89, passed away on Monday, January 3, 2022. Born in Belfast, OH on July 4, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Cecil Sprinkle and Orianna Davis Sprinkle. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Roy Benjamin Hedgepeth.

Hazel is survived by her daughter, Louise Hedgepeth Pittman and husband, Tommy, of Rocky Mount; her son, Roy Charles Hedgepeth and wife, Lynn, of Sharpsburg; 3 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and her sisters, Doris Newell and Ellen Eavers both of Ohio.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 7, 2022 at 2 p.m. at Englewood Baptist Church, Rocky Mount,. Burial will follow the service at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. A visitation will be from 1:00 - 1:45 p.m. prior to the service in the Sanctuary of Englewood Baptist Church.
