ELM CITY - Martin "Marty" James Skojec, age 74, passed away on Sunday, December 26, 2021. Born in Broome County, NY on February 20, 1947, he was the son of the late Louis S. Skojec and Margaret Sheehan Skojec. He was also preceded in death by the love of his life his wife of 56 years, Linda Tompkins Skojec; his son, Martin Skojec; his brother, John Skojec; and his sister, Joyce Skojec.

Marty is survived by his daughters, Penny Neville (Randy) and Christy Taylor (Don); 4 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; his mother-in-law, Phyllis Richards; his sister, Peg Hoffer (Carl); his brothers, Bob Skojec (Rita) and Lou Skojec (Pam); his sisters-in-law, Terri Bowman-Hundley (Deborah) and Sue Skojec; many nieces and nephews.

A special gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, January 1, 2022 from 2-4 p.m. at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
