Willie Allen Jr., passed away December 5, 2021. He was born to Bessie Brinkley Allen and Willie Allen Sr. on November 29th, 1935, in Nash County. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Children; William "Toot" Allen, Fredric G. Allen Sr., Sisters; Rozena Austin, Doretha Webb, Rosella Evans. Brothers; Johnnie Allen and Rev. Ivey Allen.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, December 18, 2021, at St. Hope Baptist Church, Spring Hope. A viewing will be held from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Thelma Jones Allen; daughter Lillian B. McKenzie (Eric Sr.); siblings, Velma Richardson, Hoby Allen (Linda) of Spring Hope, Hassel Allen, Sterling "Birdie" Allen (Willie Mae) of Paterson, NJ, Mary "Deeda" Tucker of Cumming, Ga, and Addie Mae Moore of Newark, NJ; sisters-in-law, Loretta "Pete" Wheless of Knightdale, Mary Jo Allen of Richmond, Va.; daughter-in-law: Jessie "Becky" Allen. 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
