NASHVILLE - Mack Lee English, age 86, passed away Wednesday, November 24, 2021. Born in Nash County on August 9, 1935, he was the son of the late Perry Davis "P.D." English and Nellie Mae Cooper English. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Joanne Arrington English; his sisters, Frances English Kennedy and Lib English Gurganus; and his brother, Harvey Davis English.

Mack is survived by his sons, David Lee English and wife, Joyce, Gregory Mack English and wife, Yvonne, and Dean Carter English; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; his sisters, Joyce English Weeks and her husband, William, and Margaret English May and her husband, Kenneth; as well as many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held November 29, 2021 at Forest Hill Cemetery in Nashville.
