Barry Steven Chesis, age 57, passed away on December 2, 2021. He was born on August 25, 1964 in Washington DC, District of Columbia, son of Suzanne Rome Chesis and the late Sheldon Chesis. He was also predeceased in death by his maternal grandmother Pauline "Lala" Rome, mother-in-law Nicolette "Gigi" Savage, and paternal grandparents Ben and Sophie Chesis.

Barry is survived by his wife of 25 years, Indy Savage Chesis; sons Brett Ezekiel "Zeke" Chesis and Caleb David Chesis; mother Suzanne Rome Chesis; brothers Alan Michael Chesis and Richard Elliott Chesis; father-in-law D.T. "Duke" Savage; sister-in-law Traci Savage Culverhouse (Tony); nieces, nephews, a great nephew and many cousins and dear friends.

A visitation will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday December 7, 2021 at Cornerstone Funeral Home, Nashville. A service will follow at 12 p.m. in the Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Service League of Greenville Inpatient Hospice at 920 Wellness Drive, Greenville, NC, the Jewish Community Legacy Project (www.jclproject.org), or to a charity of your choice.
