ROCKY MOUNT - Barbara Ann Joyner, 63, passed away October 23, 2008. She was born October 7, 1945 in Nash County. She was the daughter of the late Raymond and Pearl Pridgen. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Hudson.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband Lindwood Joyner of the home; one daughter, Robin Joyner of Rocky Mount; one son, Bryan Joyner and wife Sara of Charlotte; grandson, Colby Joyner of Rocky Mount; and mother-in-law, Ethel W. Joyner of Rocky Mount.

The family received friends Saturday, October 25, 2008 from 7 to 9 pm at Johnson funerals and Cremations on English Road. The funeral service was held 3 pm Sunday, October 26, 2008 at Bethlehem Presbyterian Church with Rev. Bettie Kirkpatrick officiating. Interment followed at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Bethlehem Presbyterian church, 1460 Bethlehem Road, Rocky Mount, NC 27803.
