Diane "GiGi" Kennedy Womble, 74, passed away Thursday, November 11, 2021. She was born in Charleston, SC August 21, 1947 to the late James Benjamin Kennedy and Janie Frances Martin Kennedy.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Jimmy Womble; son, Jonathan Clark Womble (Chauncéy); daughters Tiffany Womble Roberts (Greg), Ashley Womble Vinson (Jason); six grandchildren; brother, Martin Edward Kennedy (Donna); sisters Dr. Elaine Kennedy, Jane Kennedy Carlson (Randy) and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, November 14, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Nashville United Methodist Church.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service and following the service.
