George James Stancell, 59, passed away October 29, 2021. He was born November 27, 1961 in Halifax County to the late Robert and Doris Stancell. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Fred Stancell.

George is survived by his wife of 29 years, Laurie Radford Stancell; son Jonathan Arnold; daughters Cassie E. Stancell and Meghan R. Stancell; sister Linda Andrews (Vernon); a niece; mother-in-law Lois Brown; sister-in-laws, Jennifer Stancell, Sharon Beasley and Glenda Beasley; brother-in-laws, Robert Radford and Art Brown; several great nieces and nephews.

A gathering to celebrate his life will be held at the home of Kristy Langley 3485 Aspen Rd Rocky Mount, NC 27804, 4 - 8 p.m. on Monday, November 1, 2021.
