HOLLISTER - Allen Rudd, 81, passed away on Sunday, October 19, 2008.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 23, 2008 at 1 p.m. from the Pine Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert Hedgepeth officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Wake services will be held at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg on Wednesday, October 22, 2008 from 7 until 8 p.m.

He is survived by his spouse, Etherlean Rudd of the home; two daughters, Shirley Simmons of Littleton and Mattie Richardson of Hollister; two sisters, Idell Lynch of Hollister and Beaulah Lynch of Hollister, three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
